YOUR WETSUIT FINDER RESULTS
The Psycho One 3/2mm has fully sealed seams, hydrophobic outer fabric and Firewall liner, so you stay drier longer inside the suit. It’s super stretchy and flexible and very warm.
The Hyperfreak 3/2 has fully glued and TB3X taped seams and it’s the stretchiest most flexible suit we’ve ever made, it really does feel like freedom, or like surfing naked, but more comfortable. The chest zip entry adds to the comfort factor.
Special mention also to the Defender 3/2mm which sits below the top end Psycho and Hyper Series, but is a premium, very flexible and warm suit. If you want a really solid option at a lower price this is a great pick. If you feel the cold more than most, your warmest option in the water is the Psycho Tech 3/2.
For crew who like to chuck on booties, we’d highly recommend the lightweight Ninja Booties.
It just depends on what’s most important to you - warmth / flexibility / price.
Check out the AUTUMN/SPRING recommendations for further suggestions if you feel the cold less or you are leaning towards warmer conditions. Prefer a BACK ZIP? Most Psycho and Defender wetsuits come in both chest zip and back zip options, though to keep this brief, we only feature the chest zip versions on this page.
