YOUR WETSUIT FINDER RESULTS
Autumn from March to May will still have some warm water temps but air temps will be getting chilly. Reverse for Spring, with September through November having cold water with air temps slowly warming up.
Having a Spring Suit variation or two in your neoprene quiver will have you covered through these unpredictable transition seasons, or for deeper south, even a lighter weight steamer.
Our top picks?
If you’re a short arm steamer or long sleeve spring kind of guy, or just a classic springsuit guy, you can’t beat the Hyperfreak Series for complete freedom of movement. The Hyperfreak wetsuits are the stretchiest, most comfortable suits we've ever made.
The Defender series also has each of the spring suit versions, and while not as ridiculously light and flexible as the Hyperfreak (nothing ever has been) still awesome all-round performers. It’s a warmer series than the Hyperfreak, at a lower price.
If you feel the cold or are further down the coast, the Hyperfreak 3/2 Steamer is perfect, and the Defender 3/2mm Steamer is also a solid all-round lower-cost option with enough warmth to be a backup Winter suit in the quiver.
It just depends on what’s most important to you - warmth / flexibility / price.
