Very similar for warmth, Psycho One 3/2mm has fully sealed seams and firewall liner, so you stay drier inside the suit, while the Hyperfreak 4/3 has glued and TB3-X taped seams and no firewall liner, but is the stretchiest most comfortable suit we’ve ever made. You can’t go wrong with either, they’re world-leading surf wetsuits. Chest zip is available in both, and a Zen Zip option in the Psycho One ( way better than a normal back zip ).
Special mention also to the Defender Full 3/2mm which is comparable for warmth, and still very comfortable, if you want a solid suit at a lower price.
If you feel the cold more than most or tend to surf a lot of earlies, your warmest option in the water is the Psychotech 3/2mm. We think the 4/3 is overkill for Sydney. On the other side of the scale, if you want even more flexibility and are good with a touch less warmth, go for the Hyperfreak 3/2.
For crew who like to chuck on booties, we’d highly recommend the lightweight Ninja Booties.
It just depends on what’s most important to you - warmth / flexibility / price.
