Contrary to what the website says, returns process is not easy and is misleading. If you're purchasing from New Zealand and need to return, it will cost 3-5 times more to ship to O'Neill's Australian warehouse than it would a New Zealand warehouse ($70 NZD for a wetsuit return is horrendous).
The returns policy is NOT inline with other brands. Rip Curl and Patagonia have excellent customer service and returns are FREE, providing prepaid downloadable shipping labels. Billabong have free return shipping for loyalty customers. Need Essentials has great customer service and will support you with shipping $25 to and from Australia.
O’Neill has disappointing customer service, our worst online purchase experience to date. Buy from another brand.

The steamer seems pretty good but I have not been able to try it out as it was too small and I have had to return for a refund as this was the only size you had available.
Great wetsuit ! They are a good tight fit and do stretch a little with more wearing . Worm as a 5/4 should be! If you want more flexibility go for the Hyper Freak which i have in a 4/3 and this has been good in the warmer winter days . Psycho Tec Hooded i use on the cold winter days ! Hose down and dry in shade will make them last longer .
a GREAT WETSUIT WARM BUT STRETCHY AND COMFORTABLE. Still have my old 4/3 O.Neill Hyperfreak.
Still going and usable after about4 - 5 years.

The wetsuit is blue, it supposed be black ,but otherwise all good thanks
Bought one of these 2 years ago. Lasted a dozen surfs at best and then the rubber panel started separating from the neoprene. Oniell honoured the warrant and replaced it.
The replacement did exactly the same thing in the same place in less time in the water. Sent it away again and they told me that dueto the time elapsed from purchase the warrant didnt apply.

Thanks for your review and apologies for your experience. Our wetsuits are covered by a 12 month warranty period which starts at the purchase of the wetsuit, unfortunately the warranty period does not restart if the item is replaced. Again we apologise for your recent experience.
Super warm without too much restrictions in movement, liked it enough to also buy the 3/2. However, only after one winter season stitched seams began to unravel and glue began to give out. Bit disappointing as I thought spending the extra cash I would get a longer life and quality.

I have been using ONeill suits for the past 25 + years and have always been pleasantly surprised at how the cheaper/ partially sealed and unsealed suits out perform their price point in comfort, warmth and quality.
Sadly the same can not be said for the upper end of their range, yes it is warm and comfortable but I have used it 4 times and it’s already coming apart.
The chest entry stitches have come loose allowing the panel begin to split away and the back panel has started to delaminate/bubble.
