Re-writing this review given the arrogance of the o'neil review team. Down grading from 4 stars to 3.
Used this wetsuit for predominantly surfing (which requires flexibility), stand-up-paddle boarding and kitesurfing. The wetsuit fits tightly, although the material does lead to water ingress in the legs. This is more apparent kitesurfing but is also a feature in other activities.
Whilst this wetsuit is easy to get on, it's far harder to take off than its cheaper cousin - the defender. Note (Oneil staff) some defenders like mine have a front zip option. Around the legs is the toughest part to take off, right when you want to get warm.
Whilst using I honestly can't tell the difference between the defender and the hyper-freak. Maybe that's due to the limit of the 2 hours exercise per session? Maybe the wetsuits may be far higher performance than the 2 hour COVID exercise limit?
