First wetsuit so nothing to really compare it too.
In saying that, for an entry level wetsuit I think it's great quality.
The only down side so far is it pulls down on my shoulders a little bit, so it might fit a little small.
I've only used it twice, and I do think it'll stretch a bit, and allow a bit more flexibility and movement in my shoulders.

It seems you may have used excessive force and/or improper technique trying on the XS size and damaged it in the process, then tried to exchange it for a larger size which we rejected because we can not accept damaged wetsuits for exchanges/returns. We are sorry to reject your return however this aligns with our return and warranty policies and most if not all brands have the same policy around this.
Would be awesome if oneill made big fella wetsuits...i know some tall surfers like me (6'6) who cant find a decent quality wetsuits. They appear in the cheap range but not the premiums. A 4xl premium range...

Yeh, for the cost, absolutely awesome wetty. Really flexible & so far really warm , although the water is still around 18 degrees, even with the cold wind. Should get about three winters out of it, will definately just grab another one. Cheers

Not a sealed wetsuit. It leaks. Do not buy.Very poorly manufactured wetsuit in comparison to the higher end ones and for the price paid. Unfortunately this wetsuit was far from what I had expected from O’Neill after having owned several only wetsuits. Not only was the overall fit for it had several loose and threads that were not completely stitched up. And asking for an exchange or refund I was rejected and had very poor service given from O’Neill. Such a shame and very disappointing coming from a reputable name

Hi Scott, I am sorry we have not met your expectations here. First off, we never sell this wetsuit as a sealed wetsuit, it's GBS seams with taping in the critical points. It sounds like you have experienced several great O'Neill wetsuits over the years, but you feel let down by this one, and we are sorry to hear that. The focus is a lower-end O'Neill wetsuit, it's more affordable because it's not as tightly sealed or warm and flexible as our higher end suits. I have spoken with our warranty team who said they inspected the photos you sent them and the threads were not loose threads as such, but threads that hadn't had their tails cut off in the factory. That's embarrassing for us, as they should have been trimmed in the factory and not a good look on a new wetsuit, however, they are not a fault in the product or going to affect performance. This is the first negative review on the Focus series wetsuits which saddens us, however given all the other positive reviews and the feedback from team and stores, we still firmly believe this wetsuit is excellent value for money for someone who wants a very good wetsuit but doesn't necessarily need the best. We hope you will buy another O'Neill wetsuit again in the future, if you want a fully sealed wetsuit I would suggest options such as the Psycho Tech.
I purchased this wetsuit as a group present for my friend. The package arrived the next day! She absolutely loved it :)
