TB4X superstretch upper body gives you incredible freedom of movement and easy in and out of your wetsuit. To keep you warm the Air Fire Wall chest and back panels reduce thermal heat loss with pockets of air to insulate your body. The internal Graphene infused Fire Wall lining keeps you dryer and warmer on the inside and is touch dry in 30 minutes when you hang it up. Seams are double sealed with Fluid Weld Seal on the external of the wetsuit to keep you toasty even in the harshest of winter conditions. All of this with our O’Neill Blue materials utilising recycled oyster shells, car tyres and plastics, solvent-free lamination, dope-dyed yarn, and limestone neoprene, our Hyper Series steamers have taken a giant step towards building a more sustainable future and protecting our oceans.

TB4 Air Firewall

The next great thermal breakthrough made better with trapped pockets of air. TB4 Air Firewall uses a special lamination process paired with a core of aerated neoprene and a graphene fibre jersey to create the toastiest conditions.

TB4X + TB4

Arms/Back/Shoulders constructed from TB4X, the lightest, most flexible, softest wetsuit material ever created. Chest/Legs constructed from TB4, O'Neills exclusive maximum stretch, hydrophobic neoprene with featherlight ENVY foam rubber core for ultimate warmth and comfort.

External Fluid Seam Weld

External seams are sealed with fluid weld, a liquid rubber that greatly reduces water penetration through the seems. Beneath the fluid seam weld the neoprene is glued and blind stitched, and then internally we apply recycled taping to all the critical seems.

Redzone Water Resistant Zipper

Urethane coated, offset zipper teeth that interlock to stop leaks and keep water from entering suit.

Minimal Seam Design

Seamless Paddle Zones

Materials and Sustainability

Recycled Plastic

Every Hyper Series steamer saves more than 0.5kg of harmful plastic from potentially polluting the world's living oceans.

Recycled Oyster Shells

We use recycled ocean oyster shells in place of calcium carbonate powder which comprises approximately 10% of our neoprene

Eco Carbon Black

Carbon Black is one of the key ingredients in neoprene. It can now be carbonized from scrap rubber tyres using high heat to extract.

Limestone Neoprene

We have used limestone since 1996 to replace petrochemicals in our neoprene. It comes from nature and has less environmental impact.

Solvent-free Lamination

We worked together with our key manufacturing partner to develope a non-solvent based lamination glue called "Aqua-Alpha" which bonds the suit's lining to the internal foam layer.

Dope Dyed Yarn

To save trememdous amounts of water whilst also reducing energy consumption and water polution, we use a dope dyeing process that infuses colour pigment into the fibre filaments before being spun into yarn.

Warm and watertight

The wetsuit is warm and watertight. The construction seems durable. I'm finding it restrictive around the shoulders, making paddling a challenge, but I suspect I should have gone with a large over a medium. I'm 6ft, 68kilos. The neck also feels tight, but that's the tradeoff for keeping the water out!

Premium Suit, Unmatched Support over faulty model

I had a bad experience with my first wetsuit, as the internal lining started to come off after just a few sessions. I checked with the shop, and they confirmed it was a rare manufacturing defect. Thankfully, O’Neill’s support team was outstanding — they immediately understood my frustration and replaced the faulty suit without hesitation.

For the short time I used the suit here in Victoria, I can genuinely say I’d never felt such comfort and performance in the water. It’s incredibly warm — it honestly feels more like a 3/2 than a 4/3 — and the fit and flexibility are top-notch.

I’ve used many O’Neill wetsuits over the years, but this was my first time going for a premium model. Despite the initial hiccup, I’m really glad I did. The product and the service both exceeded expectations. Absolutely worth the money. I still need to try the replacement suit, fingers crossed crossed it was just a one off problem😀

Ok wetsuit

I only buy O’Neill wetsuits as they are the only one that fits my 3xl frame but only get 3 to 6 months out of the wetty before the elbows wear out.i do surf a couple times a week but maybe an elbow pad might work but anyways it’s getting kinda expensive as I the water where I live is pretty cold and you can’t have a wetty with holes in it
