I am a bit short for my weight these days. You know, got a bit of a Veranda over the toy shop. I literally got stuck in a Rip Curl zipless wetsuit, trying it on in their retail store. The conversation between the young lady, waiting outside the changing room, and I was more than awkward. Suffice to say, I was keen to avoid similar embarrassment.
I did my research online and asked a few boys at the beach and decided that the O’Neill hyper freak could be the answer my front rower frame.
Now, to be clear, I have not hit the water yet. However, my gun metal grey steamer arrived yesterday by delivery. I was delighted as I arrived at home to see a very large post bag on my kitchen table. I knew immediately that the amount of neoprene in the bag put me in good stead.
This thing fits perfectly. Better, yet, I can get the bloody thing on and off easily. I have owned of one sort of wetsuit or another since I was seven years old. At the ripe old age of 43, I can tell you, that this O’Neill wetsuit is already the most comfortable I’ve ever had.
My apologies to the O’Neill online store team for not providing a photo. To provide a photo would only cause a flood of friend request from chicks. I’m happily married and genuinely need my wife’s approval to buy the springy version of this For next summer.
Now to go and test the warmth……. In the water. For what it is worth, I was steaming a big time in the lounge last night.
